Recycling from (Household) Paper Waste to ProductsPPK from LVP

Targets of the Project

The main aim of the project is to produce fibers from household Paper waste, called PPK from LVP
-There are limited competitors in the market for this segment (only paper mills), but Apeldoorn-The Netherlands, will be the first
NWE machine used at Hydrostaal BV already has similar materials as output, so it is a proven technology.
-Currently, these materials are partly recycled but unfortunately mostly incinerated. The recycling of this Paper will create extra value for the stakeholders, environment, and German Packaging System.
-In the long term, after cleaning and making fibers, the company is ready to make end-products. As a summary, from waste to end products (waste, sorting, Drywash fibers to end-products), by vertical integration, we will close the loop and touch all stages. Think of -Egg trays, packaging, and other similar products.


Capacity Details & Production Line

-Drywash Line; 1250 kg/h * 6 lines 7500 Kg/ h
-Annually 5.333 working hours and 40.000-ton max production capacity including planned maintenance periods.
-Energy consumption is 0,125 kW/kg for a whole production line. Consequently, monthly energy consumption will be 7,500.000 kw for a 40000-ton production capacity.

 

Employee Details

-Total employees necessary will be 24 FTE.
-Shredder and dry-washing lines will work with 3 shifts.
-Employees needed for operating the machinery: Pre-sorting line, NWE/Drywash Machinery, fiber suction system, bale-press, and forklifts are needed for the production of clean and ready-to-use fibers.
-Afterwards, we will intend to make end products of these fibers. These investments are not included.

-Diaper processing capacity ± 1000 tons per year, per location.
-The overall dimensions of the separation system are 4(L) x 4(W) x 3.5(H) meters.
-The separation boiler is powered by 2 motors per boiler.
-The separating machine on offer is used to separate films and flakes from PET trays and can also be used to clean films by selecting a different program.
-The possibilities and capacity of our cutting machines are therefore known.
-The separating machine has the capacity to process ± 1,000 tons of PET trays per year.
-This capacity is based on operating the machine 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, and 50 weeks per year. To achieve this capacity, the cutting machine is equipped with 1 boiler.

Indicative energy consumption :
Per cell with a capacity of 1000 kg rejects / hour only 2 pieces 55 kWh electric motors are required.
In addition, a compressed air supply of 8 bars is required for occasional use.
And a normal cold water supply
Depending on the company-specific need, the energy demand will increase or decrease proportionately
